A week in the life of Tracy Tulula

A strange start to the week. 9 year old Oscar off on camp for 2 days and 13 year old Saskia ill in bed with flu. All felt very odd. Wednesday came and and 3pm approached when I could pick up Oscar. I was so excited to see him and can't describe how much I had missed him. I hugged him so tightly he couldn't breath. Saskia who finds him irritating also admitted to missing him like crazy.
Off home for a couple of hours then we headed to London for the opening on Thursday of the Tree top walkway and the Rhizotron at Kew gardens, a project which Will and I had been working on for over a year.
I drove all the way as Will was so tired. It was strangely quiet on the roads and we made it to London in just 5 hours. I realised later this was due to a football match between Man U and can't remember who, in Russia and it would seem that the whole nation was watching.
The Opening at kew was introduced by Mr Hilary Ben and Princess Alexander, never heard of her before but not up on the Royals.
The almighty trees were in full bloom, at their prime, which made it a perfect evening for the opening. Champagne was flowing and after a few glasses the prospect of going up 60 meters in the air on a floor made out of open weave mesh seemed more appealing. Photos to follow. TBC
